Imagine MK: Ideas Competition – Schools Info
Special Entry Details for Schools
If your school is interested in having your pupils enter our competition then please contact us first.
Email us at: transitiontownmk@protonmail.com
The procedure we have for processing the entries from young people is to anonymise their entry so that their personal details are not known to us. We do this by having a code number allocated to each entrant and their piece of work. This is used exclusively until the winners are announced.
How it works
We will issue you with a unique two letter code that is unique to your school. In addition, we ask that you allocate to each entrant and their work a four digit number starting 0001.
For example, if we allocate your school the code AB and your first entrant is Mohammad then you would allocate to him and his work the code “AB0001”. This uniquely identifies your school, the pupil, and the piece of work.
It is important that you retain a record of the entrants and the numbers allocated to them, including centrally if you are having a number of different classes/year groups entering.
If you agree that Mohammad can submit an additional piece of work for another category then you would simply allocate to that additional piece of work the next available code i.e. “AB0002” etc.
Submitting your files to us
You should save your A4 work as a photo, PDF, PowerPoint slide or Word document and ideally name the file with your code name.
If your entry is to the under 12s category, send it to imaginemk_cat1@protonmail.com with the code name of your work in the email subject line.
If your entry is to the 12 -16 year olds category, send it to imaginemk_cat2@protonmail.com with the code name of your work in the email subject line.
If your entry is to the over 17s category, send it to imaginemk_cat3@protonmail.com with the code name of your work in the email subject line.
It is your responsibility to keep a record of whose work has been submitted under these procedures.
Please also keep your original work until the competition winners are announced.
