The Golden Wassail
In 2026, both the Woughton Community Orchard and Cider Orchards turn 50! Join the celebrations with The Parks Trust and Mid Shires Orchard Group.
Bring your friends and family along to explore the Community Orchard and enjoy a traditional Wassail ceremony. Wear bright celebratory clothing and bring along whistles, drums, musical instruments or anything noisy to help us chase away pesky spirits and wish for a bountiful harvest for the orchards, as well as good health and wealth for their communities!
A small selection of refreshments will be available, and the opportunity to join a guided tour of the community orchard, led by the Mid-Shire Orchard Group.
