MKCAN’s Community Forums: The 5 ‘Es’ of MK’s Draft Sustainability Strategy

Join us for a dynamic series of events exploring Milton Keynes’ Draft Sustainability Strategy

These five events are online and centred around the ‘5 Es’ of the Strategy Documents:

🌍 Economy | ⚡ Energy | 🌫️ Emissions | 🗣️ Engagement | 🌱 Environment.

🗓️ Forum Schedule

1. Economy – Monday 14 July | 6.00 – 7.30 pm
2. Energy – Tuesday 22 July | 7.00 – 8.30 pm
3. Emissions – Wednesday 30 July | 7.30 – 9.00 pm
4. Engagement – Thursday 7 August | 7 .00-8:30pm
5. Environment – Saturday 9 August | 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

We want to hear your thoughts on:

• What is good about the Strategy and Action Plans?
• What could be added to the Strategy and Action Plans?
• How should citizens be involved in the Action Plans?
• What initiatives would be most helpful to you and/or your organisation for helping to deliver a sustainable vision for MK?

Outcomes: Given the diversity of the participants, it may prove difficult to reach full consensus on the proposed feedback to the MKCC consultation. This should not be a barrier to delivering an outcome and participants and their organisations are encouraged to submit feedback independently.

Ideally, to feed into MKCAN’s submission, the meetings should produce:

• A shortlist of suggested actions/improvements to feed into the strategy
• A shortlist of suggested ways in which MKCAN and the wider community can contribute to sustainability in MK

We also encourage everyone to complete the consultation form individually.
