International Women’s Day ride – Ride and Shine MK – social & gentle ride around Willen Lake. Women only

This ‘Ride and Shine MK’ ride is part of an International Women’s Day event being organised by Cycling Citizens MK and being hosted at the Trek store.

There are a number of different rides available to suit all riders.

We ask people to arrive from 9.45am to enjoy pre-ride refreshments provided by Trek.

We will then have a group photo before the varying rides set off.

This short ride will be led by Jane Whild and Marie Bradburn. It will follow gentle redway paths to Willen Lake and around Willen Lake.

It will be a very gentle and social ride and take no more than one hour of cycling.

We will stop as needed for a breather, some water or to take photos.

All types of bikes are welcome.

This ride is WOMEN only (16+), sorry no children.

We will return to the Trek store for some post ride treats.

Free secure bike racking will be available. Toilets available.

There is NO parking at Trek.

There is free car parking available at the two below locations – only 150 metres from Trek:

1.) Canalside car park, Silbury Boulevard at roundabout junction with Overgate. Please note, there is a 1.9m height barrier in operation.

Riders are advised NOT to park at the Warbler on the Wharf pub, as parking restrictions apply.
